Set within the Quinault Rain Forest and home to the "world's largest spruce tree," this scenic, lakefront resort with mountain views is 3.2 miles from Route 101 and 4.6 miles from Amanda Park. Low-key accommodations range from basic inn rooms with wood-paneled walls to homey suites offering decks, and cabins providing fireplaces, kitchens and/or whirlpool tubs. All have Internet access, TVs and coffeemakers; most add lake views. Amenities include a seafood restaurant with lake views, and a general store, a sandy beach and hiking trails. There's also an RV park with water and electric hook-ups, and a campground.
