Make Wool Needle Felted Amanitas.
Join community fiber arts instructor Myco from Feral Felt and Wild Child Arts Education to sculpt a wool Amanita muscaria mushroom in this family friendly class. Turn your creation into a magnet, patch or ornament. Learn about fungi anatomy through tactile fiber art. Listen to stories about the history of these beloved fungi while working. Prior experience needle felting is helpful but not mandatory. Class is 2 hours long. Ages 9+. Materials and use of tools included in price. Needle felting kits can be purchased after class or at the Feral Fine Arts Booth.
Myco Robinson is a community fiber arts educator and lover of all things fungi. Myco is the director of Feral Fine Arts, Feral Felt and lead instructor at Wild Child Arts Education. Running specialized arts programming in the Olympic Peninsula. With over 19 years of teaching experience and international training, they bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to all they do.
