UV Night Foray with The MycologiGals: Rose Tursi and Amelia Nora. After the VIP dinner and lecture, we will meet at the wild mushroom display in the lobby of the historic Quinault Lodge. We will discuss the wonders and joys of UV reactive fungi then walk to a trail across from the lodge where where we will use UV flashlights to hunt for glowing mushrooms and other fun and interesting nighttime delights. This was a big hit last year, lots of laughs and surprises. Mycology experts Rose and Amelia will guide you along the trails as you learn about the fungi of the night.
Participants must be in good health and able to walk one mile on uneven terrain.
