Ways to Support the Quinault Rainforest Mushroom Festival
The Quinault Rainforest Mushroom Festival 2026 invites local businesses, organizations, and community members to get involved and help bring this unique celebration of nature, education, and community to life. We are seeking volunteers to assist with everything from event setup and workshop support to guiding guests and helping with family-friendly activities. Volunteers will receive festival perks, including a free t-shirt, priority access to select events, and recognition on our website and printed materials. In addition, sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, with flexibility for both monetary support and in-kind donations such as lodging, food, products, or services. Sponsors enjoy valuable exposure through our marketing channels, printed materials, and on-site signage—plus the satisfaction of supporting an event that brings visitors, learning, and economic activity to the Quinault area. The Shores and Spores Mushroom Club is the main presenter of the Quinault Rainforest Mushroom Festival, bringing together mushroom lovers from across the Pacific Northwest. Based in Ocean Shores, Washington, the club shares the fun of fungi through education, mushroom identification, and hands-on experiences for all ages.
Throughout the year, Shores and Spores hosts guided forays, workshops, and community events that connect people with nature and deepen appreciation for local ecosystems. As a volunteer-driven organization, the club’s mission is to make mycology accessible, engaging, and rooted in community.
